Ugly Betty Episode 2.14 Sneak Peek Videos

ABC released two more sneak peek videos for Ugly Betty episode 2.14 (24 Candles), and thanks to the good folks at B & B, we’ve got ‘em!
I put them in a playlist so they play one right after the other. The first is an extended version of the scene where Betty discovers Charlie is back, and the second is a split preview. First, Gio kind of flirts with Betty, then, Alexis has to get tough with her mother.
Is Charlie not the creepiest Stepford Wife ever on television? You hate to love her, or love to hate her – she seems so bubbly, but you can see the conniving wheels spining in her head. She looks right at Betty when she proclaims that the baby is happy to see his daddy. What a…
It’s interesting how they always have to show Gio’s eyes whenever Betty talks about Henry. Freddy Rodriguez plays it perfectly, and America Ferrera is very subtle in how she plays the “I know he’s interested in me, but I can’t let it show” vibe. Very good.
The scene with Claire is kind of sad, and I hope Alexis doesn’t get her way. First off, I think “HotFlash” is a good idea, silly as it sounds. Plus, it gives Claire comething to do, and hopefully keeps her off the booze.

wow that looks amazing…Betty is obviously listening to Henry from the last episode when he told her she didnt want her around Gio…they seem like they havnt seen each other for a while.

I think they always show FR’s eyes because it’s clear that his crush is starting to wear him down. I’m not sure he’ll be able to keep his mouth shut very much longer. It’s like every time he sees her, he wants to shout, “I’m so into you.” But he keeps it all in.
I say, keep those eyes coming.
And, yes, Charlie is deliciously devious. Her passive aggressiveness can’t be matched by ANYONE!

Totally agree about Charlie being creepy! She is such a wench! I am quite a bit bummed about the whole Betty/Henry thing coming to a possible end …but hey..they just better keep Chris!
