Ugly Betty Episode 2.16 Promo Photos

ABC has released a small set of episode stills for Ugly Betty episoide 2.16 (Betty’s Baby Bump) . This set is exclusively based around the Hilda relationship with Justin’s PE teacher. I’ll give you most of the episode synopsis now, but put some of it behind the jump, because it’s quite spoiler-ish. The edited synopsis:

Betty switches gears with rival Charlie (guest star Jayma Mays) and tries to befriend her by throwing a baby shower, a party that no one will ever forget. Meanwhile, Hilda confronts Justin’s PE teacher (guest star Eddie Cibrian as Coach Diaz) when she learns Justin is flunking gym; [...snip to omit spoiler...] and Christina finally learns who fathered the baby she’s carrying for Wilhelmina.

• Hilda obviously tries to get on coach Diaz’s good side by giving him a haircut (PE teachers do not get their hair “styled”)
• A good shot of the handsome Mr Cibrian.
• Does Hilda get angry and mess up Diaz’s hair?
• More of “the incident”. Ana Ortiz looks almost Asian in this shot.
• I don’t know – it doesn’t look like Hilda meant to mess up to me!
• Umm…yeah…Ms Ortiz is absolutely gorgeous with her hair colored a little darker.

Dang it – I really liked Renee (or at least Gabrielle Union). Of course it had to end, but it’s just sad to see it in writing. Apparently, her crack-up in episode 2.15 (Burning Questions) is going to mean the end of the relationship.
