Ugly Betty Episode 2.15 Promo Photos and Spoilers!

ABC has released episode stills from Ugly Betty episode 2.15 (”Burning Questions”), along with he synopsis of the episode. There’s so much good stuff here, it’s hard to know where to start.
Let’s start with a photo before the jump. (NOTE: High rez!) I guess we know where the title of the episode is coming from. Is that the Suarez house? Henry’s apartment? It’s hard to tell from the photo.
This thing with Marc (Micheal Urie) and hats is getting out of hand.

Before we get to more photos, let’s review the synopsis:
An increasingly delusional Renee (guest star Gabrielle Union) becomes convinced that Betty is in love with Daniel and therefore is her rival for his affections. Meanwhile, Hilda’s new client at the beauty shop turns out to be ex-neighbor and lifetime nemesis Gina Gambarro (guest star Ava Gaudet), who returns to Queens to rub her fabulous life and wealthy doctor husband in Hilda’s face.
YES! Gina Gambarro! You broke my plasma! How I’ve missed her. I think the rivalry with Gina brings out the best in Hilda, and Betty, for that matter.
And, although they used the word “delusional” in the synopsis, it looks like they’ll be giving us a little hint of Daniel/Betty in this episode. We haven’t seen any Detty hints in a while. Back to the photos…

I can’t really tell where it is from the photos, but it would make a lot of sense if it were Daniel’s apartment. Since a lot of those shots post-fire have Renee in them (with soot on her hands), maybe she set fire to Daniel’s apartment. That sounds like an unstable, possessive, delusional girlfriend thing to do.
Can’t wait to see how much they decide to play with the Detty dynamic here. Wonder if they’ll get into any completely-platonic-but-easily-misconstrued situations just to fuel Renee’s paranoia…
Seriously counting down the minutes till the show’s back on the air.
Well, we can’t be sure, but it makes sense if that were Daniel’s apartment since Betty is shown with a fire extinguisher in that one shot – and we know she has access to Daniel’s apartment. To me, it doesn’t look like that’s Mode at all.
I agree – overall, I think this episode seems like an interesting way to touch on Daniel/Betty’s dynamic without actually “going there” just yet (since it is only Season 2, of course).
wow, a sympathietic look from Willy…interesting…was that a psychiatrist’s office that Marc and Willy were at??
I agree that the fire is probably at Dans house. But the sad thing is that Betty was there and could have been in real danger…I wonder how that could play out. So this could be where we find out what the real secret is behind Renee. These last 5 eps cannot come soon enough!!
I think that this is either Daniel or Wilhelmina’s (sp?)apartment…More likely Daniel’s though.
And as for Renee’s secret, it is probably just that..Renee is easily succumbed by jealousy which causes her to become “delusional.” And she in turn makes her a danger to herself and the people around her.
Well..thats my thought at least.
Of course, as an H/B shipper, I took the summary as saying that only people who are delusional think there is anything there *romantically* for D/B.
Overall, it looks like it will be a fun episode. I’m thrilled that Gina Gambarro is coming back, because her dynamic with everyone including Hilda is fun.
I like that Renee’s secret isn’t that she is using Daniel or anything–she has genuine feelings for him. Other than Amanda, who Daniel didn’t reciprocate the feelings for, we have never had Daniel dating someone that he likes who genuinely likes him back…so that’s a good thing for him! It just sounds like the issue with this woman is it goes too far the other way.

Wow…that came off as pretty sarcastic. I’m sure that may be your idea of a fun joke, but was it really necessary to say that? It is possible to discuss these pictures without having to make subtle jabs like that towards these folks who like Detty.
And some people wonder why “shipping wars” get nasty…
Moving on, I think this episode looks very interesting. I actually feel bad for Renee since she does look sad and dejected. I’m thinking, however, that there must be more to this secret past of hers than mental instability. Perhaps her past health problems caused her to commit a crime, and she was sent away to spend time in a mental psychiatric unit. That could possibly explain why Wili told Renee in Episode 2.13 that she took her in when she had nowhere else to go. But hey, that’s just my guess.
And perhaps the cake isn’t actually for Renee’s b-day. Maybe it’s to celebrate something else?
Also, I know Betty will be okay, but it scares me to see her caught in harm’s way like that.
This will certainly be an interesting episode to watch…
Yikes! Well, I meant it to be poking fun at myself, since that was what I originally thought, that it was pro-H/B, and then I came here and all the Daniel/Betty fans were assuming it was pro-D/B. It just goes to show that everyone sees what they hope to see, which I found amusing. So I’m sorry if I offended anyone!

I think Renne may have had some issue with fire when she was little or something.
Because i’m guessing that Whilimenia invited Renne out to lunch (in other words to destroy her) and Whilimenia knows something that happened maybe at a birthday party (explains the cake) and the way that Renne was staring at the candles looks like she was remembering something. I’m thinking that she has had something bad happen with fire when she was little (some was caught on the birthday cake and it set on fire) so she decides to set something on fire. And the big white room you see them in kinda looks like a physicatric ward (where crazy people go) that’s what I think

I think its in Daniel’s or Willy’s and i know its with betty and renee and i am pretty sure renee was trying to get back at betty and something happens with fire and in episode 14 christina puts a candle on and renee puts it out and she tells christina no candles. to me renee is scared of fire or maybe the breakdown that she told daniel she had when she was younger had something to do with fire
or willy is trying to get back at renne and since she took her pills she freaks out about fire or something and ive heard that renee thinks that betty likes daniel so they are both caught in daniels appartment caught in willy’s scheme!

I guess Renee is suffering from pyromania, that’s why she takes the pills. Nothing else can explain the candles thing with her!
