Ugly Betty Shut Out In SAG Awards

Ugly Betty was well represented at last night’s Screen Actor’s Guild awards, with nominations for America Ferrera for best Actress in a Comedy Series, and the entire cast for Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

Unfortunately, Ferrera did not win; that honor went to Tina Fey (30 Rock).  Also, the cast lost out to the cast of The Office (although I cheer for Ugly Betty, The Office cast deserves recognition).

The Ugly Betty cast (especially the women) shined and were quite stunning, dressed to the nines.  I thought Vanessa Williams was especially dazzling in her yellow Escada gown.  Stay tuned, there are some great red carpet pics I’ll be sharing soon.
