Ugly Betty Episode 2.13 Video Sneak Peek

Ugly Betty 2.13 Henry Betty Gio

Here is a sneak peek video of Ugly Betty episode 2.13, “A Thousand Words By Friday”.  The Henry/Betty/Gio love triangle is in full force here, and of course both of the men have a little attack of macho bravado.

Are the writers (I guess I should say WERE the writers…) trying to steer the audience to stop liking Henry, so the blow will be softened when he leaves?  I know many of you are Henry/Betty fans, but Gio has seemed more and more sympathetic lately.  Regardless, this storyline is going to be hilarious!  Add in the Amanda/Gene Simmons story, and you’ve got an episode that is not to be missed!

I bet they are trying to make Henry jerkier so we will be glad when Betty moves on. It’s not fair :( *pouting until the writers come back (to work and to their senses)*

Well I said this over at I-C, but it definately looks like they’re trying to make Gio look like the good guy, at least from what I’ve seen in the promos and sneak peeks. Kind of like how in Bananas for Betty, they tried to make him seem whine-y and self absorbed which kind of came out of no where, but he eventually redeemed himself towards the end. Hopefully something like that happens in this episode! I love Henry and I hope he’s not going to be as umm… oblivious to Betty’s feelings as he appears to be in these.

[…] you know, yesterday, I posted this sneak peek. The competition between Henry and Gio, at this point in the story, is pretty fierce. But, they […]

In all fairness to Henry, in the extended sneak peak on abc.com front/home page, the book H/B are reading is called, “Tap That.” -the “pick-up” book Betty’s doing research on-
So he isn’t saying that to be a jerk, he is literally phrasing the book, like the nerd he is. aha

But I do agree and it’s frustrating, that they are trying to make Henry to look like bad guy, when his character isn’t.
