Ugly Betty Episode 2.11 Live Reaction Post
Betty is Back! Join us tonight for our weekly gathering of Ugly Betty fanatics, as we watch and comment on this week’s episode! Episode 2.11 is “Zero Worship”. Here is the synopsis:
Amanda visits a psychic (guest star Annie Potts) for insight into her dad’s identity. Meanwhile, disturbed about the message Mode is sending to Justin and his classmates after they visit the magazine, Betty pushes Daniel to use “real” models during fashion week; and Wilhelmina gets some unexpected news about her latest plans for the Meade dynasty.

Here we go! Maximum load exceeded! Too funny. They are running Betty crazy during fashion week. Nice Henry/Betty kiss.
Now, the wilhelmina hormonal scene from the sneak preview. Love it!
The scene with Hillary still makes me sad. Amanda is awful.
I still think Stuart is playing Christina for a fool. OK, here’s Annie Potts. OMG, the girls starving themselves, that’s terrible. But, it looks like Betty to the rescue.
Betty is trying to talk Daniel into using “average girl”. Daniel likes the idea (at least for the publicity). We can actually have food this year! HAHAHAHA - Annie Potts’ character is a fraud. A “black dog”, she says.
Boob, boobs, and meat! Alexis turns Daniel down. Wilhelmina can’t carry a child. Loved that line by Marc: Hostile womb! Aren’t they all?
5-star womb. Marc is on fire this episode! Here’s Bow Wow. Betty is funny when she’s uncomfortable. “Mr Wow…” Hey, he’s a pretty good actor! OMG, Amanda’s “dog rescue” - hilarious!
Henry has to tell Christina that the insurance won’t cover her husband’s treatment. Marc wants pants with butt-cleavage. Alexis rigged the scales - they are still using the same models. The psychic says to find a “B” that will lead her to a “kiss”. Alexis tells Betty that fixing the scales was his idea. Boo-hiss..
Betty is Amanda’s “B”! Brandi agrees to carry Wilhelmina’s baby. Betty confronts Daniel about the lie. Aww…12 year old Betty. She’s so cute!
Dang - Wilhelmina’s surrogate is a porn mistress!
Daniel is having an alternative show co-hosted by Betty. Let’s go put on a big FAT fashion show. Daniel is great in this episode (but Marc has been the star of this one). Also, I loved Ignacio talking about women showing their…well I didn’t understand exactly what he said, but I understood, if you know what I mean. :)
Daniel sends out the team to get real models. Oh wow, Amanda was great in that scene with Betty. Betty figured it out! Gene Simmons - of Kiss!
BTW, Alec Mapa is one of the best parts of the season this year. The fashion show was as incredible as I thougt it would be. THe girls not getting it - that was terrible.
But, I like the way it ended, with Betty and Daniel walking out, arm in arm.
Next post is a sneak peek, then the full recap. All in all, I liked this episode a lot. Next week looks even better!
