Ugly Betty Episode 2.11 Spoiler
I found something interesting when doing some background research for Ugly Betty episode 2.11, “Zero Worship”. The writers are up to their old tricks again (well, they were, BEFORE the strike). More after the jump.
It appears as if they are going to use the “vision” plot device again. If you’ll remember, Betty has seen visions of her father, Bradford Meade, and herself - one year younger. In each of these occasions the vision served as Betty’s conscience. My favorite was Bradford inside SoCuteItsSick.com, threatening to kill one of the kittens. :)
Anyway, at the IMDB page for this episode, a newcomer, Ashley Estrella, is listed as playing “12 year old Betty”. No doubt this will have something to do with the young girls and their (size) “zero worship”, and her own struggles with this sort of thing when Betty was that age.
I know some of you aren’t too crazy about these “visions”; I personally think they are a great visual way for us to get into Betty’s head. This one looks to be perfect; maybe 12 year old Betty will give today-Betty the thumbs up, just as year-younger-Betty did in I See Me, I.C.U , if everything turns out all right.
