Ugly Betty Scheduling News From ABC
ABC has released its schedule for the first part of next year, and there is good news and bad news for Ugly Betty fans. The 3 new episodes will air in January. But there is uncertainty as to what ABC will do in its timeslot once February sweeps begin. From Televisionista:
There are 3 all-new episodes of “Ugly Betty” left (they will air from January 3), but the network is considering several other options for that timeslot in February. They may air either repeats of “Grey’s Anatomy” or encores of “LOST,” where previous week’s episode of the show would lead into a new episode at 9:00pm as they did last spring on Wednesday nights at 9:00/10:00pm.
Wow. Reruns - during February sweeps. We can thank the WGA strike for this, but I’m also wondering why ABC did not just air reruns of Ugly Betty during January, and save the three new episodes for sweeps. However, the moguls at ABC know what they are doing (we think), and we are just fans.
So, get ready to watch new episodes of Ugly Betty starting January 3, and hope the strike ends soon!

I don’t think we should say, “we should thank the WGA strike for this!”
They needed to have that strike to get what was fair to them. Also the entire cast of Ugly Betty supports the strike and was in it as well.
I like the site tho! I just thought that was just kinda a bad statement, :)
