Ugly Betty Part Of TV’s Best 2007
The TV Guide Network is airing a new show, TV’s Best 2007, which is a comedic look back at TV’s most memorable moments of 2007. Well, of course, Ugly Betty is featured prominently.
And believe it or not, I actually watch other shows, so I’m quite interested in what they have to say about Lost, CSI, the various reality shows I love, and, with tween-aged children, the Disney Channel programming I watch more than anything else. Would you like to hear me sing the Hannah Montana theme? :)
I missed the first airing of this last night, but it is also being aired tonight on the TV Guide Network at 9PM EST. It also airs again many times throughout this week and next.
Update: I’ve noticed in the listings that there are both 1 hour and two hour versions. Only Henry is in the 1-hour version. I’m thinking that possibly those other two categories didn’t make the edited-down version. Keep an eye out for the two-hour episode!
Some Ugly Betty highlights after the jump:
- Betty and Henry are named the number one TV couple(this will make MANY Ugly Betty fans happy). The Betty/Daniel, and Betty/Gio folks? Not so much. Nevertheless, out of all the couples on all the shows on TV, that’s saying something.
- Alexis is named the number one transsexual on TV. Now, I know Big Shots has Dontrelle, and All My Children (check out Soaps on ABC for all the scoop) has Zoe, and Dirty Sexy Money has Carmelita, but, really, is there any competition? Rebecca Romjin is playing Alex with such joyous abandon, has there ever been a more loveable, electric transgendered character on television?
- Christopher Gorham as Henry is named the number 3 sexiest geek on TV. Who was number one? Hiro? I don’t need to make a case for Henry. All I have to do is offer you this:
To each his own, I guess.
Anyway, for those of us who are Ugly Betty - starved (there are no more this year), this is just the fix we need. I know I’m going to check it out.

yay! Henry and Betty totally deserve to be the number one couple of the year. They are the best for each other. And there are MANY Henry/Betty fans-so its all good! lol.

I watched, but for some reason I didn’t see the best couple or best transsexual awards… did I watch the wrong thing or something? I saw the 3rd cutest nerd though…

Odd, that they have two versions but the quotes from CG on the abbreviated version were great. I’m taping the 2-hour version today, also.
