Betty is Back! Join us tonight for our weekly gathering of Ugly Betty fanatics, as we watch and comment on this week’s episode! Episode 2.10 is “Bananas For Betty”. Here is the synopsis:
Henry reluctantly agrees to go on a double date with Betty and an unlikely couple — Hilda and Gio. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina’s attempt to change her image as the queen of mean fails miserably after she tangles with America’s most beloved golden girl. Betty White appears as herself. Ugly Betty airs tonight at 8PM EST.
All spoiler-laden reaction after the jump! Tonight is the Hilda-Gio/Betty-Henry double date, and Wilhelmina’s attempt to rehabilitate her image.
Here we go…A video message from Bradford. Oh, my! Betty screwed up the video hand-off! Alexis and Daniel are fighting over Bradford’s chair. I guess they aren’t working as a team anymore.
Wilhelmina just gave the “back in my day” speech.
Halston in a paper clip outfit!
Gio is jealous of Henry. And he definitely has a “connection” with Hilda. Hey, I like the dance – whoops, Henry now appears to be the one who is jealous. Why, oh, why is the Hilda/Gio storyline only going to last one episode??? They are so good together!
About WIlhelmina – the Elenor Roosevelt thing was a great touch! The sibling rivalry is actually pretty hilarious. Hoo-boy, Justin just remade Henry – eeewwwww.
This episode is much heavier on the comedy than the last two. I really like it!
Henry singing Van Halen – it’s almost too much 
Here comes the paintball war.
The sundae eating thing – eating things off your lover in general – they usually end in disaster. Don’t ask me how I know. 
OMG, Kenny just MAKES the paintball scenes. Oh, no, Wilhelmina just broke Betty White’s fingers! And BEtty WHite said “Jackass”
Something tells me Henry can’t dance. Man, the slow motion scene with Alexis had me in tears! Love the dance song on YouTube!!! Back to painball – Amanda: war has changed me.
Somebody tell me – who is Nick? Who does he work for?
Lookie – Henry and Betty had their weekly fight.
Forgive me on TV!!! Only Wilhelmina. Amanda/Nick are pretty good together.
Henry dancing – great! BTW, if anyone knows a real nerd with a body like that, I’d be surprised. Hmmm, Gio really is jealous.
Daniel just showed mercy; it cost him dearly. Interesting scene with Hilda and Gio – almost as if he didnt know he liked Betty till Hilda said something about it.
I think Betty’s about to get her revenge! Yep, that was great!
My bunny got wounded!
Wilhelmina’s moved on to plan B – OMG, she took Bradford’s sperm! Most of y’all were right!

Nick is Alexis’s assistant. When she hired him (in episodes from last season), he has always had “tension” with Amanda.
Oh, and Nick was in the chivalry-episode when Henry defended Betty’s honor. Remember, parts of the episode took place in the Knights of the Round Table-type restaurant where Amanda used to work!
