Ugly Betty Spoiler: More Cliff , Yoga?
TV Guide’s Ausiello has some casting news about a couple of my favorite guest stars: Marc’s on again, off again love interest Cliff (David Blue), and Claire’s fellow escapee Yoga (Lorainne Toussant):

Question: On last week’s Ugly Betty, we saw Claire Meade’s comedic partner-in-crime, Yoga, leaving the Suarez house to presumably go overseas. Please tell me this isn’t the last we’ll see of the Yoga and Fish comedy hour!— Charles

[About Cliff] Ausiello: In case you hadn’t noticed, there’s no such thing as a long-term anything right now in Hollywood. But I can tell you that we haven’t seen the last of Cliff. Of Betty’s five remaining pre-strike episodes, Marc’s BF will appear in at least one of them.
Yipee! This character may be the most universally liked guest on Ugly Betty ever. I’m glad we’ll be seeing more of him (if the strike ever ends). I’ll add a little more: Blue’s IMDB entry has him appearing in episode 11: Zero Worship.
[About Yoga] Ausiello: Unfortunately, unlike Cliff, I’m told there are no current plans for Yoga to return. And I agree, Chuck: Those two are a riot!
That’s a darn shame. I was really starting to like Yoga (the “cable” and “exterminator” bits in episode 2.08 were some of the sharpest bits of comedy all year).
BTW, if you ever get a chance to see old episodes of Law And Order with Toussant in them, check it out. Her Shambala Green character was one of the most compelling I’ve ever seen on television.

They should both absolutely stick around. Especially David Blue as Cliff. It is so, so refreshing for those of us who have either been Cliffs or dated Cliffs to see a role of this type played so honestly and with such total elegance, plus Mr. Blue and Michael Urie have the most incredible on-screen chemistry. As for Ms. Toussaint as Yoga, now that we know she didn’t escape to Italy on her own without Claire and the system thinks she’s dead, I’d love to see her move in with the family and serve as some sort of mother’s helper to Hilda; it’s a little tricky to think of an escaped con being Justin’s mentor, but I think she and young Mr. Indelicato could have some wonderful scenes together and she could also bring some legitimate male influence to his young life that his father couldn’t. In any case, bravo to them both!

Oh!!! No more Yoga?!? I loved the last episode with her and Claire?
“Who are you?”
Yoga: “Cable man.”
Claire: “You are the worst fugitive. Ever.”
“Who’s she?”
Yoga: “Exterminator.”
Claire: “Are you kidding me?”
