Ugly Betty Un-Spoiler From Ausiello
Well, as if the strike threatening the rest of the season of Ugly Betty wasn’t enough, in his Ask Ausiello column this morning, our favorite insider gives us some not-so-good news about one of the most anticipated episodes of the season:
Question: Please tell me that in the six or seven episodes left of Ugly Betty, the musical episode is included! — Katie
Ausiello: Unfortunately, it’s not. That episode hadn’t been approved yet anyway. It was still in the idea stage when the strike happened.
That’s a doggoned shame. There are so many good singers in the Ugly Betty cast (Becki Newton doing Milkshake doesn’t count), I was very much looking forward to the musical episode.
The fallout from the WGA strike just gets worse and worse.
