Producers are eyeing a February-sweeps air date for the musical episode of Ugly Betty. We’re also hearing producers plan to bring Patti LuPone back for the episode, and they’re hoping Kristin Chenoweth returns as well.

Betty goes on a date and finally gets her chance to see Wicked: The Musical, but chaos ensues and Betty manages to stop the live show.

Holy cow, the musical episode is one I would absolutely LOVE to see!  Of course, we all know that Becki Newton (Amanda) and Michael Urie (Marc) would shine in a musical episode, not to mention Mark Indelicato (Justin), who did so wonderfully in season one’s finale. Vanessa Williams would absolutely kill. 

But, what I’d REALLY like to see is Alan Dale, Eric Mabius and America Ferrera break into song and dance.  I swear, I’d buy that on pay per view.
